The African palm weevil (Rhynchophorus phoenicis) is a major pest of palm trees in the tropics and subtropics. This study examined the efficiency of rearing African palm weevil larvae on various …
Mycelium-based composites (MBCs) are biodegradable materials produced from fungal species grown on lignocellulosic residues. These composites have characteristics that could replace synthetic plastics used …
The quality of partograph documentation is a key component of obstetric care safety. In the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), implementation of the free maternity care policy was accompanied by an …
ABO and Rhesus (Rh) blood group frequencies vary by population and are relevant to transfusion compatibility and blood-bank planning. This retrospective study describes the distribution of ABO and Rh blood …
Radio refractivity is a key parameter for reliable terrestrial microwave-link design because the tropospheric propagation of radio waves is strongly affected by atmospheric refractive properties. Daily …
Transition metal oxides have received substantial attention because of their versatile applications in photocatalysis, electronics, and energy storage systems such as batteries and pseudocapacitors. Owing …
This study investigates natural radionuclides (NRs) and heavy metals (HMs) in locally produced eyeliners. Untreated (market-bought) and treated (laboratory-prepared) eyeliners were analysed for NRs and HMs …
Crop recommendation methods have become an essential component of modern agriculture, helping farmers identify the most suitable crops based on soil, climatic, and environmental conditions. As key …
Nigerian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) absorb energy cost shocks with almost no financial buffer. This paper develops a stochastic optimization framework that links published national …
We introduce a new class of generalized logarithmic Godunova-Levin interval-valued mappings and establish weighted Hermite-Hadamard and Jensen-type inequalities via Riemann-Liouville fractional integrals. …
This study proposes a group of clusters of families of hybrid polynomial kernels, constructed via convex combinations of Beta polynomial kernel families, extending classical kernel density estimation …
We study a path-flow Wardrop network equilibrium model in which total demand is split among paths subject to non-negativity, demand conservation, and a cost-balance condition. Each path flow is …
This article proposes a mathematical structure called complex fuzzy multisets (CFMSs), which integrates the multiplicity feature of fuzzy multisets with the complex-valued membership grades of complex …
Surveys on sensitive matters, including security behaviour, substance use, and financial misconduct, are prone to insincere answers when respondents fear disapproval or consequences. Randomized response …
Amebiasis and typhoid fever are life-threatening tropical diseases that affect the human intestine and can lead to death. Both share a common transmission route and are prevalent in developing countries, …
Accurate rainfall prediction is critical for agricultural planning, flood-risk management, and urban infrastructure resilience, particularly in tropical coastal cities such as Lagos, Nigeria, where …
